With nearly two decades of commercial leadership experience in Hospitality, Mr. Darrah brings a market-centric mindset and deep industry knowledge to FreshAir. His top priority is to help hoteliers worldwide leverage the unique capabilities of FreshAir’s Smoking Sensors to address the costly and detrimental impact of in-room smoking on their assets and guests.

Mr. Darrah, a visionary leader in hotel revenue management and sales, has helped reshape the industry over two decades. Notably, at the Hotel du Pont, he optimized the tech stack, achieving record profits. Then recruited by TravelClick, he excelled in selling the iHotelier CRS solution across North America. Spearheading casino and gaming initiatives, he fostered partnerships with key players such as the Cosmopolitan Las Vegas, MGM Resorts, and Wynn Las Vegas. Advancing to lead a multi-million dollar investment in iHotelier CRS, he introduced transformative features, securing partnerships with Coast Hotels, Ocean Properties, and Oakwood Corporate Housing. This strategic move positioned TravelClick for its successful sale to Amadeus in 2018.

As TravelClick merged with Amadeus Hospitality (Newmarket and TravelClick), Mr. Darrah assumed the role of leading TravelClick North America. He built the sales engine, hiring exceptional talent playing a pivotal role in the success of Amadeus Hospitality for four years. His strategic vision and leadership were instrumental in the company’s evolution.
